Cry, Heart, But Never Break is a story about four children who are visited by Death as their grandmother nears the end of her life. Death shares a story that helps them understand why sorrow and joy must exist together, and why we cannot live without periods of sadness and loss. The author´s approach is compassionate and reassuring. He offers comfort in the reminder that love and memory endure even after loss. The story explores the Buddhist concepts of impermanence, non-attachment, and the cycle of life. It conveys a sense of mindfulness and presence, encouraging children to embrace emotions without fear and to find meaning in both love and loss.
