Rating: 4 out of 5.

This story introduces kids to the idea that we all have an invisible bucket that needs to be replenished daily in order to feel happy, calm, and content. It touches on the importance of self-care, kindness, compassion, and respect. The story describes simple acts of kindness that will fill up the buckets of those around us, and at the same time nourish ourselves. I love this book because it is applicable to us all, whether young or old, and encourages compassion for our friends, elders, and even strangers. Suitable for all ages.
