Rating: 4 out of 5.

The vibrant illustrations make this book a joy to read. The author, a home-schooled alumni, recounts a day in the life of a homeschooling family that is full of fun, mess, adventure, learning and love. It normalises ‘home as school’ and introduces us to how classes in art, astronomy, English, physical education and cooking can look, including activities inside the home and on field trips. An excellent story for young learners who are home-schooled or unschooled. Suitable for families with 3 to 7 year olds.
